About Us

The Singapore Business Advisors and Consultants Council (SBACC) is an independent not-for-profit organisation that is supported and recognised by government agencies. SBACC governs the activities and certification of Practising Management Consultants (PMCs).

SBACC is also a strong advocate of continual upgrading of knowledge and skills of management consultants. In line with the Singapore Government’s vision and initiatives to keep the workforce vibrant and relevant – while building the capacity and productivity of enterprises, SBACC is committed to growing a talent pool of professional consultants who are vital to the development of enterprises in Singapore. These management consultants help enterprises to determine and achieve business objectives through good consultancy.

SBACC’s primary objective is to promote and advance the professionalism of business consulting by having in place internationally recognised and valued standards of performance and conduct for our certified management consultants. It also maintains and reviews these standards to remain current and competitive.

Qualified and certified management consultants can help enterprises to be productive and competitive by introducing new technologies, improving systems and processes, restructuring enterprises and extending the range of abilities and knowledge.

Businesses can benefit tremendously as management consultants plug critical gaps in management knowhow and provide useful business contacts, to add values to the businesses.

SBACC is the first organisation in Singapore to be certified as ISO/IEC 17024 in January 2015. This is an international standard for organisation in the certification of personnel to ensure that the certification process is impartial and has no conflict of interest.
